SalSa Film Festival 2025
Visual Identity, Illustration & Animation Teaser
Visual identity and animated teaser for the 3rd International Salsa Film Festival in Weimar, an international short film festival focused on films without dialogue.
The visual concept centers on silence, body gesture, and collective viewing as universal forms of communication. The teaser imagines a group of characters discovering an abandoned film projector in a forest and gathering without knowing what will be screened — presenting cinema as a shared experience beyond language.
To communicate the festival’s focus despite its misleading name, vintage cinema tools were used as recurring visual symbols across the teaser, poster series, and physical installations.
The animated teaser was screened as part of the festival program at CineStar Weimar.

Under the shadow of norms
Visual Essay / Illustrated Book
Under Shadow of the Norms is a visual essay that explores alienation, anxiety, and self-perception within normative social structures. The work unfolds through fragmented scenes, symbolic spaces, and restrained gestures rather than a linear narrative.
Focusing on inner experience, the book examines how social expectations shape behavior, posture, and identity. Memory, distortion, and silence function as narrative tools, allowing images to operate as emotional residues rather than literal events.
Positioned between illustration, graphic storytelling, and visual research, Under Shadow of the Norms treats the page as a psychological space—inviting the reader to move through atmosphere, tension, and quiet transformation.
